Class Act

Hey gang!  Here's a little illustration about the lower class learning the secrets of the middle class so as to elevate themselves to said middle class.  That's about it.  All vector except for the gradients...which are all photoshop.  Because I hate vector gradients.  It's nothing personal, but it just feels less intuitive and fun making them there than it does in Photoshop.

Wait, the Middle Class has secrets?

Like, what? Buy mayonnaise in bulk?

I can't really say. I'm pretty sure I just figured out I'm in lower middle and we're not granted access to the coveted secrets of middle middle and upper middle.

Looks really good Shane. Do you mind if I pick your brain and ask what the reasoning for the gradient on the nose and ears was?

Simply put, Aaron, I like it. :) I used to use darker versions of whatever flesh color I used, but I found that the reds and pinks add a little bit of life. Granted, you also run the risk of someone looking either sick or intoxicated, but those are risks I'm willing to take, because I'm a gamblin man. Sometimes it doesn't quite work out, but it still adds some contrast.
