Dudes, I'm so awesome.

I'll be humble again tomorrow...but for the right now...I own. Srsly, ppls, I can haz you seen my new papercraft? No, for really! It's awesome. What's wrong with my speech? I don't know.

So I zombified my Newsbot just in time for the Zombie walk today. (Well...it's almost today) Introducing Zombot. The phenomenally phantastic photographs below are by my pal Lindsey Turner. This particular pre-assembled Zombot comes with a sweet sweet severed Newsbot head and leg to munch on so as to satisfy his Zombot cravings for robot flesh...which is really just metal when you think about it...and THAT's really just paper when you think about it.

Deep.
You can read more about the contest at http://thememphisblog.com/win-your-own-zombot/. If you feel like downloading Newsbot he's available from the CA website or right here on my blog. Download him. Put him together. Just don't leave him alone or he might eat your iPod.

Comment on my post and tell me how awesome I am...I mean...Zombot is.

is it wrong for me to say he's much cooler as zombot?

I agree, Bev. That thing is seriously the cat's meow. Hell, it may even be the dog's meow, too.

Not at all, Beverly. I think I agree!

He's also the small child's meow and the occassional European Hedgehog's meow as well. Thanks, Brian. I was really tempted to call you "Bri" again just now.

I think he's adorable, but that may be inappropriate. Seeing as how he is zombified and therefore a menace.

He's still adorable. You just can't get too close or let your guard down...because he might bite you. On the other hand, Amanda, you could just step on him because he is, after all, only 4 inches tall.

He looks very upset that he killed his possible friend. :C I was thinking about going to go watch the zombie walk but it's TOO HOT!!!

I would have to agree to your self-declared awesomeness. That is possibly the finest Newsbot/Zombot I have ever seen and probably ever will see in my life time.

So if he bites me, Do I become a Zombie or a Robot?

I stand in awe of your awesomeness!
No, that is a lie, I sit on my couch in awe of your awesomeness. There is awe involved nonetheless.
I lie awestricken upon my chest of drawers
I am riddled with awe on my front porch steps
I am smothered with awe on a bed of wild rice...

Anyhoo, I forgot it was happening friday, I hope the turnout was good. Did you attend perchance?

Kayla, fortune favors the bold. It wasn't too hot. You should have gone. I've lost all respect for you until you wow me with your next project.

Tracy, thanks! Mighty kind of you...even if it was solicited.

It would only be inappropriate to deny your true feelings for Zombot. I like to think he's more "cool" than "adorable" but lately I've started calling houses "cute" so it's probably really only a matter of time.

Michelle, you're just being sarcastic...but I love you anyway. I did, in fact, attend the zombie walk as a motorcycle victim zombie...complete with exhaust pipe through the chest and a face shield that you couldn't remove...because my theory is that zombies couldn't remove a helmet or face shield and would be doomed to not actually bite anyone. AND I rode the bike there all dressed up.

I saw your most recent installment in the CA today. NICE.

Aw, my words may be sarcastic but the sentiment is sincere, you got some mad paper-fixin-up skills. I am sad that I missed the walk, maybe I'll just have to do one all by myself one day. Thanks fer checkin out my thing in the paper!

Thanks, silent rip. That gives me an idea, actually. No, not that. Rockstar Newsbot!
